Just go to the service desk and they can look up the receipt and refund the difference in less than 60 seconds. Just did this yesterday on hoodies. Price dropped $5 x2. They just needed my membership card and the item number and it was all automatic. Don't even need the item or receipt present.

Use a knife to cut them in half like the rest of us.

After you cut it use that knife to butter some bread and kill two birds with one stone, or one knife.

Anyone's Costco selling the unsalted?
Mine has only had salted in recent memory, including during the Thanksgiving time sale and the current sale.

Btw, too bad we have to pay extra for this kind of more "special butter". This is like standard butter quality in some parts of the world where I've traveled to.
By "special" do you mean "imported"? Because yes, imported goods generally do cost more since they're not sourced locally.

Many places in the world pay extra for "special" products which we commonly find here in the US, also.

A bit deceptive as the cows are not grass "finished" - meaning they plump them up with GMO corn at the end...
Is this a joke? Why would you "finish" a dairy cow?

We did the exact same thing, it was 12-4 for Costco brand. 12 ppl prefer Costco brand over Kerry gold
2 groups of people having butter tasting parties? Wtf? I don't believe it.

I'm stocking my fridge up with this butter, thanks Korean pop band song for making butter popular again.

Edit: unsalted for the win

But what about pesticides?
Are organic and grass fed not two different things?
Ideally grass fed organic would be best. Next best would be to avoid those pesticides leaching in and I thought going organic would do that.
Pesticides can still be used with anything organic. The only difference is the pesticides are plant derived vs synthetically created. Still a chemical

It was ringing up $14.49 at my Costco. So YMMV.

This begs the question: where is the lower price valid? Could you please point to the state or ZIP please if you can replicate the deal?
