Just go to the service desk and they can look up the receipt and refund the difference in less than 60 seconds. Just did this yesterday on hoodies. Price dropped $5 x2. They just needed my membership card and the item number and it was all automatic. Don't even need the item or receipt present.

I was not planning to go to Costco, no. I was in a vicinity and decided to check this out.
but this (kerry) gold goose chase costed me ~40 minutes of my life.
