Not to knock these headphones at all – they were my first pair of "real" headphones and are an industry staple for a reason: they are excellent at the above application, are comfortable for hours on end and can take a serious beating and keep on going. Just know they're a bit more of a U-shaped frequency response (which is exactly what some people prefer).

Not to knock these headphones at all – they were my first pair of "real" headphones and are an industry staple for a reason: they are excellent at the above application, are comfortable for hours on end and can take a serious beating and keep on going.
