Birds aren't real.
Ideally you'd already have a junction box for this. Solar lights are either never bright enough or fail early, especially as the battery ages. I'll take wired over solar lights any day.

Right. Almost falled on this thinking it's another solar light. It costs more money to run wire for these instead.

Unless you're handy, you'll have to use an existing outdoor light fixture spot. Even then you may have to modify it.

Why is it so hard for Amazon to put a picture of how this looks when it's installed on a wall?

Edit. Seems there is *here*.

Not gonna wire for an Amazon basics $8 9W fixture… just completely Asinine to put the time and money to hook up an Amazon basics 9W imho
I think most people would put this up as a replacement, not new install.

For this kind of cheap plastic light, no. I have solar motion lights on fence posts that are going 5 years strong. I would not waste a fixture on this POS.

True but I have solar lights out on my horse leantos and they have been working for 4 years now. Good enough when I do a night check on the boys when there are loads of predators out and about.

It's mostly aluminum. Good luck getting 8-9W of light out of most solar lights. If you're buying this, you're buying it to shine a lot of light, anytime. It's a different use case than most solar lights.
