Regular Lithium batteries and not lifepo4. Not a bad price for 388/wh.
Amazon description says LiFePO4 battery... Upon further research appears that I was mistaken... My observation appears to be for a different model... Apparently NOT LiFePO4 batteries in the A1730 PowerHouse II 400
Yeah it comes with an ac charger and can also take a USB c pd charger.
It can charge from both at the same time for maximum charging speed. I've had mine for around 2 years now

Golabs is rar far lesser of quality. Are you gonna be recharging close to daily?
I'm only planning on using these when I go camping, so probably a few weeks each year at most. How often would you need to use the power station for the difference between this vs LiFePO4 to count?

These batteries get 500 to 800 charges before life hits 80%. Honestly I'd only worry about LiFePO4if you are going to be charging it more than twice a week. LiFePO4 is also noticeably heavier

That is true. I should have included that tidbits. Thanks.

Thank you. The LiFePO4 fanboys get a little tiring. Even someone who charged it up every day, such as a contractor, would probably wear out the electronics before the batteries do.

Also the technology keeps improving, I don't think I'd want to be using the same one for 10+ years.

I do think if I was charging it multiple times daily I might be more worried about LiFePO4 but I think for a lot of people it's not necessary

I'm more interested in the LiFePO4 for it's chemical stability, less likely to explode.

How often do solar generators from reputable brands explode?

of course it's not exploding left and right but still prefer LiFePO4. You do you.

This isn't a fanboy issue. An argument can certainly be made whether or not you need a LIFeP04, I would get a lithium-ion without hesitation if it suited my needs but the LIFeP04 is undeniably the superior product.

Check your electric provider to see if you can claim some credit on that. Edison will give you $150 for this.

Do you have a link for this?

It's also heavier and more expensive. BMW is undeniably a better product than Mazda but that doesn't mean someone should go into all the Mazda threads telling everyone why they should buy a BMW. The person you responded too said fanboy because that's what happens in every non LIFeP04 thread.

Dumb question: Could you use this for a corded lawn mower and snow blower? I already have a battery lawnmower that was pretty cheap. Just wandering because I know a lot of people who are looking at gas/battery/cord. could you bungee cord this to the top of the corded lawnmower, snowblower, etc.

Not a chance. The smallest electric lawn mower and snow blower I can find on the Home Depot site is 11 amps. 11A at 120V is over 1300 watts.
