Have these and using them daily for work. Ive always used the lowest setting and it's bright enough. Battery's life is depending on the settings. On the lowest, 6 hours and it still had 2 battery bars

Your first sentence is true, and a good warning / information to share, but I'm not sure what logic of "superiority" you're using for the second sentence.

There are also AC powered LED lights that would be hard to pass over compared to halogen work lights. There are plenty of bright battery LED powered worklights. This is not one of them, but the only critique would be that the term "work light" is used very vaguely / broadly.

Halogen lights can be cheap and bright, but they also get very hot, and can also be susceptible to bulbs burning out and/or being fragile.

LED lights, e.g.

Can be battery powered or AC powered. They can be very bright or not that bright.

My Home Depot is selling a similar 2 pack of Defiant branded lights for $25 in store. It has the following differences:

2000 lumen each
USB C rechargeable
Magnetic back
USB out (charge phone)

Worth the extra $8 for me. Really like them so far.

If anyone was wondering, these are not near as bright as the HDX halogen work lights. The halogen lights are far superior which is why they require AC power.

I think this is a great deal, I have one and love it. Only knock is that it's really bright and moving it around I often blind myself.. if you can afford it get one with a little handle on top.
Thanks. Can you not use its stand as a handle?

No, holding the light by the stand would make everything appear upside down

I got this guy a year ago... been useful.

Just this past week I replaced a sump pump in my crawlspace and installed a 4g water heater under my kitchen sink (it's in corner, deep narrow opening...very dark).

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B9XRYCZS

I paid $20 in Feb'22

USB-C charging cable, not micro.

How is this has zero information about how long the battery would last or what size battery comes with it? 1000 lumens as a work light? My regular cheapy flashlight is brighter than that.
Yeah but at this cost, it's cheaper than most cheapy flood lights on ali or fleabay for probably the same amount of output

Yes you can carry it around with it but once you position it the handle becomes part of the base.

Are you referring to Your regular cheap light actual light output, or it's claimed light output? Quite often, the claims are beyond what current technology allows. Is your flashlight, a narrow beam compared to a large floodlight?

Would the pair work for bike headlights?
No, these aren't suitable for that. They're too unfocused to project down the road or trail, and because they are so broad and project above what is ideal, they will blind anyone coming the other way, including oncoming drivers.

You would become a dangerous road hazard. Look up "target fixation" and know that it applies here. Drivers will be more likely to turn toward you without thinking about it or meaning to do so out on the road.

I would rather ride without lights than mount a set of these.
