Same edition is 70% off right now ($11.99) in the PlayStation store. For that price, will give it a shot. Greedfall 2 to supposedly be released in 2024.

The PS4 version was free, but not PS5. I agree with the rest of what you said, but at least this version has an option to run at 60fps. So, I guess there's that. This game did get 5 out of 10 scores all over the place, though. As you said, it was definitely meh.

Yeah. It's not a good game. It's super clunky and looks and plays like a low budget, early PS3 game.

I'd give it a 6.5/10. There are some interesting story elements and environments but the general jankiness and weak characters hold it back. If you really want a game that harkens back to old Bioware titles (obviously not as good) it might be worth checking out.

I also HATED this game. Can't say that about any other game. Played it on game pass and I'm embarrassed I spent time on it and that I feel so strongly toward it. If we're talking Bioware, think gameplay of ME1 and writing of ME:Andromeda, but worse. With extra tedium built in to pad the game time. Some interesting worldbuilding and story elements, but agony to get through.

I liked it, a little surprise that I played for free on gamepass. It's lower budget but not every RPG has to come from the same few studios.

Having played the first one I would definitely play a sequel.
