If you don't care about barnd, these are cheaper with same specs.

Be sure your motherboard can run 1.35v RAM (XMP).

Those cheap HP Victus 15L desktops from black friday can run 3200 RAM, but only at 1.2V, with crap timings.

Anyone know how this would work with mixing ram on an AMD 3700x? Current pair is a 32gb (2x16) ballistix, ddr4 3200 1.35v with the same timings so probably would work?

Amazon shows this as "2 count" instead of a 32GB kit.
Does that make any difference?

It's 2 sticks of 16gb, this allows for the use of dual channel memory

Might be a stupid question but how does this compare to this one in terms of speed/performance?

RGB is the only difference. Pay more for twinkles.

Probably....yes! Smilie Smilie

If it's all Corsair and the timings are the same....I'd say you have a high probability of success. Corsair RAM has been good to me over the years.

Other brands have been more roulette at times, e.g. usually working but occasionally not. I've mixed different brands and seen them work just fine. I also once saw *identical* RAM (2x8gb pairs) from Patriot, bought 8 months apart, NOT work as a 4-some. Both pairs ran fine as 16gb sets, installed separately without the other. But combine them...and very unstable. I was always suspicious it was something w/ the mobo...but then I installed 4 sticks of GSkill ram, and those ran fine.

That's kind of the nature of RAM.

Technically the timings are better on the OP's but both are CL16...so nothing you could actually perceive. Also, the best buy one has the RGB tax.

Bought this on Black Friday, kept crashing my pc during gaming. I doubt it's user error. As soon as I put my old ram back, it was fine. Adjusted everything in my bios accordingly too.

Add some juice. Try 1.36v ,7, or 8... I think it's safe to run up to 1.4v 24/7.
