I have tower speakers that sound a little bit better - but I prefer these because they take up a lot less space and give me 95% of the performance.
Some people would recommend the larger center channel. I considered purchasing the center channel before I got the set, but after getting the speakers and setting them up, I think this center channel sounds just fine. I listen at moderate sound levels 95% of the time.
I very much recommend the set at this price. Very nice sound IMO.

I have this set plus the matching 8" sub running through the Costco Yamaha TSR-700.
