Hi OP, looks like the QN50 that you are posting.
Their naming scheme is such a mess... first "QN" usually denotes the size of the display. The model is QN9DA, which from what I've quickly googled is the same as QN90A (?).

$677 from the seller directly. I agree with turnne, this has been $599 in the past. 2021 model so you may not see much price action or find at other retailers. https://www.walts.com/tvs/qled-tv..._id=786281
I have a 75" QN90A in a room that gets a lot of natural light. It's why i chose the Samsung over an LG OLED. It's a good panel, but the Samsung UI is godawful. If seriously pick this 50" up for the bedroom, but i just can't with that terrible interface. Takes like 4 clicks to change damn source input

I have the 85" version of this TV.
There are a few things to keep in mind. Its a mini-led TV. It can get super bright. When the local dimming works as expected, the black levels are phenomenal. Almost as good as an OLED TV. With the brightness and color of QLED, this TV really shines in bright HDR scenes.
With that said, there is a panel lottery. You can get a TV with terrible and distracting DSE. Although Samsung QA regarding this is usually decent so I have not seen a lot of mention of this on AVforums. What is mentioned regularly is issues with local dimming algo. I also have these issues from time to time, where the local dimming is just terrible. This issues is particularly observed in game mode where local dimming at high also causes some discoloration.
For movies and TV shows though, this TV is as good if not better, than LG OLEDs even in light controlled settings.

How much did you buy the 85 in for? And if you don't mind what is the model number? I'm in the market for an 80+

FYI, you can create shortcuts on the homescreen to inputs, just like app shortcuts. Go to the input page, press the up arrow on the input you want to use, and choose "add to home".
Bought this same tv via Amazon from walts for $800. After seeing their direct website pricing(680 I think) I contacted them and they issued me a refund for the price difference. Good experience with walts so far. BTW very happy with the tv.

It has now been replaced by QN90B, which is the 2022 model.
