New and 32 GB of RAM.
No keyboard and mouse though.
128 GB of storage seems low but an older i7 still seems like a decent machine.
Not sure how it would compare to an 8/256 M1 setup though.

a decent entry level system for someone who is interested in getting into Mac OS or simply wants a set it and forget workstation without having to fork over the $200 upgrade fee to go from 8 to 16gb of ram. i'm running Ventura on an even older iMac i5 via OpenCore and the system runs just fine for my needs (a mix of productivity (MS Office), web browsing and multimedia playback).

Not a great buy when Apple is phasing out Intel, but not a bad deal if you want to buy it to use as a Windows mini-PC because you like the form factor.
The i7 and the 32GB RAM is nice, but the 128GB is borderline unusable. You can plug in a USB SSD, but there are some important apps (I'm looking at you Xcode) that will not run on an external drive. If that drive was upgradeable, this would be a decent deal.

What a strange configuration. But I suppose if you just want a Mac that can run more than two displays without resorting to Displaylink this is probably a pretty good value. This could be good for someone wanting to run Qlab.
The M1 Mac Minis refurbished were on sale for this exact price a year or two ago. I missed it and hope that they could be attainable at that price again. This particular deal is not that great in comparison.
