This is the same Camp Chef Smoker from the $399.99 deal three weeks ago but they dropped the price $60. It's $520 on Amazon at the moment and seems to bounce between $500 and $650.
I think this model is basically a DLX with the slide and sear added so it's their entry level grill with the PID Gen 2 controller with that feature added. I think that might make it become an SG without wifi/bluetooth. It's definitely no Woodwind but it's less than half the price.

Although set the temp to 210F it reached to almost 400F due to oil burning.
Eventually it settled around 205F/210F.
My buddy who has the Camp Chef Woodwind smoker will come over on Saturday to help assemble.
I've been buying my Bear Mountain pellets from Lowes at $13.98 for a 20 lb bag. I've purchased the Gourmet BBQ and Bourbon BBQ varieties so far.
