This brand makes toys that are designed to appeal to the parent but aren't really fun for the kid. They have the appearance of being a teaching toy but there is nothing really there to make it that. My kids hate the toys from this company.

You would be better off with something from Melissa and Doug or similar. Better built, cuter and better priced.

I have to admit I thought it was really cool at first but realized after reading the comment it probably wouldn't hold my 3yr old attention for very long. On the other hand the link above which incorporates a menu, money, etc. would be much more to my kids liking. Sure, this might be hours of fun and learning for other kids just not mine.

I got this 1.5 years ago for my son who was just under 1 yrs old, and he loved this toy! He learned how to scoop up ice cream, stacking, and we played some color sorting and counting exercises. Lots of fun pretending its real ice cream too. Highly recommend!
