No-brainer if you're visiting Hawaii and looing at doing a day trip (or more) to one of the other islands. I flew from Honolulu to the Big Island (Kona) and the airport there is quick and easy to get in/out of. It was the first time I ever seen an outdoor airport and had to get off a plane on a staircase. Smilie Even though it was a really short flight (30 minutes?) Hawaiian still served beverages.

I went there with my family in Jan 2021, right after they changed the policy to allow skipping quarantine by showing negative testing taken before the flight. Best visit ever as there was no lines and crowds. I don't know what the current policy is, though.

We're looking to go back again in 2025, provided that nothing crazy happened

just logged in to say this is the most ridiculous thing i've read this year so far. so folks should boycott a whole state because of such a silly gripe? your viewpoint is so myopic I cant even begin to break it down.

Didn't they have one of the highest COVID rates in the nation driven by a bunch of tourists who didn't "sit alone maskless on a beach?" Didn't they also advise AGAINST any tourist visiting during these restrictions? Isn't most of their economy driven by tourism and this was the only way to lower the COVID rate so the state could open back up again thus allowing their population the ability to earn $$$$?

Man, things sure do make a lot more sense if you think about the facts.....
