Delta Air Lines, American Airlines and Expedia have round trip airfares travelling from Los Angeles (LAX) to Tokyo Japan Haneda Airport (HND) for $577, nonstop. These are basic economy fares that include a personal item, a carry-on bag and 1 free checked bag for your hello kitty japan edition plushie. There is no seat selection and no change. Your outbound flight is on Delta and returning on American Airlines as far as I'm seeing (2 screenshots attached for different dates)

Only one bag tho. Granted, I haven't flown there since 2019 but you used to get 2 free checked bags of up to 50 lbs. Maybe this is the new standard?

This is a good price, but I prefer JAL or ANA over US airlines. I hope price will continue to drop back as they ramp up capacity (# of flights offer).
