As someone that has survived the nightmare of their kid bringing home bedbugs from camp, if there's so much as a 1% chance of them in a product, I'm out. Sure, you might save $20 on this risky item, but you could also spend $20k on pros to get rid of the bugs. For us, it came down to pulling literally every single item in the house out and spraying down every single inch of everything (including the house and ourselves) with lab grade ethanol.

Made in China, but we all expected that.
Yeah, it sucks that for so many companies, this is the way it goes. They make an inexpensive, good product, gain popularity, start cheapening and cutting corners, then they are as bad or worse than the bargain brands no one would touch. We just bought a Casper queen at Costco and it's awesome. Medium firm and we both sleep way better at night. You can tell the quality difference just in the cover and how the mattress looks. We'll probably get the Casper bed too.
