Hate to break the news to you, Amazon comingles their stock with 3rd party sellers, especially when it's a name brand commodity like vitamins. This has been a known issue for years and explains all the crappy sd cards, thumb drives, etc that people get from Amazon directly.

You're not breaking news to me. But if it's sold and shipped by amazon - as a prime member if I lets say do not agree with the expy date or it's past the return date or there's any issue of any kind- as an Amazon prime member they dont screw me over vs the headache of sending messages to a third party seller back and forth for days then them asking for photos to be sent etc. Not to mention the after sales emails asking for reviews from the third party.
