Tried other small power delivery hubs before and when use the power delivery, Ethernet adapter, HDMI functions of those hub as permanent docking station, most of them heat up fast and not for docking station kind of use for 8+ hours a day. I assume this kind of PD HDMI Ethernet hub is similar and only for few hours use? Many reviews said the hub only last for few months (assuming long hours of use each day....)

These look pretty slick, but I really need longer cord to extend the hub from desktop PC on ground up to the desk. Anyone know if it's possible to extend the cord or any options with longer cords? Kinda want one with 3 or more USB 3.0 or slots.

i gave up and use usb-c to hdmi cable and never looked back

Great price. I like the slim 7 in 2 ones that you can leave attached to the Mac. Hopefully it lasts a year or two. I had an Insignia that started acting flaky in 6 months and I paid a lot more for it. I can throw this and get a new one in one year.
