This PC should be delivered tomorrow. I bought another one for my youngest son. I can say in confidence that this PC is solid. Upgrade the DDR4 to 16 or 32 and go with at least 1TB of NVME. Solid machine for under $450 with these upgrades.

Get a 1Tb M2 SSD for 50ish.
Get 32gb DDR4 RAM for 130ish
Get a 10Tb Mechanical HDD for storage.

If you are really motivated, the CPU can be replaced with a Ryzen 7.
I appreciate the suggestions. I've built plenty of PC's..

My point is, after spending all the extra money for the upgrades you mentioned, is this still a deal? There are plenty of other pre-built deals that are better than this if you are willing to spend that much.

Name a better prebuild for $365? Very difficult. I have gone through PCPartPicker, MicroCenter analogy builds and its virtually impossible to build something similar for no less than $500-$600. You would need to buy something for at least $800 to double the performance of this PC build. Again a good graphics card will run you at least $300-$400 alone.

The most you would need to spend on DDR4 and NVME 1TB is less than $120. The total investment for under $500 is probably the best PC you can at this point.

This is not true. I got this exact model a few months ago from the same refurbish supplier and put in a 3060 and it works without any issue.
Should work with any GPU that works on a 400w PSU.

I got a pair for my kids for Christmas. I do recommend upgrading ram. I tried adding a gb SSD, but the power supply had no available power for a 2.5" SSD. I ended up replacing the m.2 drive and cloning it with Macrium Reflect and an m.2 to USB adapter. No issues at all.
Interesting. I bought this system a month ago and was able to add a 2nd SSD without issue. There was an available plug on mine.

Same here; added second drive (1TB) no problem. There are two power plugs on that run. Just have to enable the drive with a partition.

Does anyone know if you're able to upgrade this to have a second M.2 SSD or if you need to use a SATA SSD?
No, will need to be 2.5" - no additonal m.2 for drive.

Seems pretty solid for $365. If it was me, I would immediately throw in another 8GB DIMM, but that should be pretty cheap ($25). Probably cannot do much better for a $400 budget gaming PC.

VERY capable system, but a bit light on the memory and drive size - I would be tempted to upgrade almost right away.

Interesting.... was considering this as a Plex/File server. I would ditch the GPU but is there any fancy way to get additional power for storage? Ideally I would like to get 2 HDD's inside the case but one would do.
