$230 is a decent deal. I think Black Friday lowest was $299 so pretty solid. 64oz wide container has been the most versatile because it can food process and make hummus and stuff a bit better than the 48oz. Haven't tested the 64oz tall container.
Edit: Never mind, I'm dumb. It was $385 for the 5200.
This 5300 seems to be better all the way around with the exception of a 2-year shorter warranty (5 years vs 7).
Refurbs come from the Vitamix factory and used to carry the same warranty. Might be a couple years less or something like that. I believe it's less years but the jar and accessories were new.
But some people don't like saving money.
