Very good specs, but at this price, it is a bit too late. Maybe before the 4000 series gpu laptops, but at this price it is too high. At $1299, I think this is a great deal at $1499, it is OK deal. At this price, it is probably not a deal.

Probably the worlds greatest laptop monitor (consumer level at least). 240hz oled is so responsive with the deepest blacks. Pretty sure it's only 8bit though.
Unfortunately the laptop itself is just bad. Mine was running hot, I'm talking 70C while just downloading a Steam game. And the fan is loud af. MSI is bloated with steel series, nahmic, MSI center software. Also, the keyboard kept double typing keystrokes. The drivers are a shit show, I keep drivers up to date and in 2 months I got ~20 blue screen errors.
Only one other laptop that features this panel is a Razer model, and that is like $3k. I would hold off, unless you run Linux and like tinkering with drivers.
The problem isn't the monitor. The monitor is attached to a gpu that will look like junk in the next couple of months due to the release of the 40 series based on the early reviews.
