Honestly seems like a great deal for the hardware. I see electronics continuing to drop in price but if you need a mobile gaming machine seems good.

As an aero15 user, I would avoid Gigabyte laptops because of its warranty and customer service. It's really hard to get your laptop fixed.

I have this laptop it's been great. Don't get it if you expect very long battery life it is not that laptop. Very powerful for its size.

This post says "12th Gen Intel Core i5-12500H (2.5GHz~4.5GHz)," but Amazon's site says "CPU: 11th Gen Intel Core i5-12500H Processor (2.5GHz~4.5GHz)."

Uh... 12500 means 12th gen. The first 2 digits is the generation, automatically. Amazon is a bunch of failures lol

Probably a typo on Amazon. The i5-12500H is a 12th Gen according to Intel:

it is most likely not a full powered 3060, prob a 60W one, the $791 refurb laptop couple days ago had 130W one, and DDR5 - was the better deal

It's 95W, with boost to 105W I believe.

Does anybody know what kind of material the entire case is made out of? Can't find any info, including Gigabytes Global site. Plastic, aluminum, magnesium, etc. Thanks.

Can't because this is a superb deal. 12th gen CPU, 3060, 16gb RAM, and 144hz screen. I'd snatch it if I'm even remotely considering a new gaming laptop.

Companies are not going to keep overproducing when their existing inventory is not selling. Prices will keep falling for some time and then the prices will stablize. Companies started cutting orders back in July, and given a few months of production lead time, the smaller supply should start having an effect. Prices should definitely bottom between now and June.

Where do you find the power/wattage consumption info? I've tried to look for this but it seems hard to find for all laptops and then you have to be very careful about making sure you are looking at the exact same model number to be sure.
