There is a trick to use it. Add the other items then apply the gift card, go back and remove those items the gift card will still stay. It works before but I didn't try this time.

I personally own the top of the line LG S95QR 9.1.5 channel w/ the rear speakers. The dolby atmos and subwoofer is extremely underwhelming, and substantially inferior to Sonos or even Samsung speakers. This is after professionally calibration and all settings turned up to the max.

Further, there has been zero firmware updates and the LG Soundbar App is so finicky, would not always recognize the connection and you have to reset to reconnect the soundbar - you can read up on this on the play/apple store, with all the reviews mostly 1 out of 5 stars.

Highly recommend against this system. Feel free to try for yourself, but you will experience all of the above as mentioned.

If you want to join total tech, you can get $20 off with code dec23emob1 when paying through best buy credit card. Then there is cashback website gives $20 cash back. Hence roughly $160 + tax for 1 year membership.

Strange, I get a discount of 40 cents 0.40 when I use that code with my bb card.

Edit: nevermind I think you meant the discount was on the membership not the soundbar

total tech membership can be canceled and fully refunded within 60 days. Or prorated after 60 days. I wonder if that would work in buying the membership, get the deal and then cancel/prorate the membership to get this deal?
