There is a trick to use it. Add the other items then apply the gift card, go back and remove those items the gift card will still stay. It works before but I didn't try this time.

I personally own the top of the line LG S95QR 9.1.5 channel w/ the rear speakers. The dolby atmos and subwoofer is extremely underwhelming, and substantially inferior to Sonos or even Samsung speakers. This is after professionally calibration and all settings turned up to the max.

Further, there has been zero firmware updates and the LG Soundbar App is so finicky, would not always recognize the connection and you have to reset to reconnect the soundbar - you can read up on this on the play/apple store, with all the reviews mostly 1 out of 5 stars.

Highly recommend against this system. Feel free to try for yourself, but you will experience all of the above as mentioned.

How do you show them it has the credit at bestbuy? If you already have total tech support, why don't you just buy it at bestbuy

I think Best Buy changed their policy in the recent years that getting a price match will invalidate any other offers, like getting an additional gift card

This does work with the right rep. A while back we had one similar to this and I had to call on the phone for the price match. I don't remember the full process but it was a lot of hoops. I was following up every few days. I received two $50 gift cards on separate occasions for "delays" and then my full amount. I would say the whole process took about 3 months to finish and as nice as it was I wouldn't try again.

Yeah didn't want that hassle so gave it up. Usually they send confirmation email within minutes after successful price match. I think their backend system didn't approve it as it is big ticket item.
