Lowest price since last January. I bought this gun 7 years ago and paid $20 more. This is a great price.
  • Smart Point Technology: Easy nail placement as a result of a smaller nose compared to current BOSTITCH nailers and no need to compress the contact trip to actuate the tool
  • 18 gauge brad nailer drives 18 GA brad nails from 5/8-inch to 2-1/8-inch length
  • Oil-free operation reduces the risk of oil stains
  • Tool-free jam release mechanism for easy nail removal
  • Dial-A-Depth control for precise countersinking of brad nails
  • Selectable trigger system for sequential or contact operation
  • Other Features: rear air exhaust and belt hook with integrated pencil sharpener
Kit Includes: Nailer, 1/4-inch Air Fitting, Carrying Case and Extra No-Mar Tips

Minor clarification for the description.

Currently says
Smart Point Technology: The electric brad nailer features easy nail placement as a result of a smaller nose compared to current BOSTITCH nailers and no need to compress the contact trip to actuate the tool

However this tool is not an "electric brad nailer". The one linked is pneumatic

Good catch. The Amazon listing contains the typo but everything else looks correct compared to the Bostitch site. I revised the listing.

Does anyone have a preference between this and the Metabo HPT offering for entry-level homeowner/DIY usage? https://www.lowes.com/pd/Metabo-H...1000786134

The Metabo requires manual oiling with every use whereas this Bostitch is oil-free. I don't think that's a make / break but it's a functional difference. I have the Bostitch and like it a lot but I've never used the Metabo. I'm sure it's a fine choice at that price.
