On what planet would someone pay $105 for this???
I was using Shockwave until I found the makita xps bits.. nothing compares to those.
You're paying for the modular packout case. It's a whole system from Millwaukee and if you want solid storage that lasts forever and can handle being bounced around without spilling the individual containers, this is a reasonable price.

I have a full PackOut system.

I just saw this yesterday at my local hardware store and they had it priced at $100, too.

I got this kit for an additional $35 this past holiday season when I bought the Milwaukee Impact Sockets (it was a package). I do have to say, this is much more handy than the smaller sets, IMO.

You can get the packout case by itself for $29.99 today. Are you saying that the bits are worth $75?

Coming someone who is a huge fan of Milwaukee and their tools, these bits are absolute trash.

How's the quality on these? The last set I bought from milwaukee was made out of chineseium that bent as soon as I put in a couple screws.
Did you happen to buy those online from a random seller?

Help me understand. The price is $43 for the packout case and a hand full of bits. How does that equate to paying $75 for the bits? I understand that "regular" price is terrible, but I'm willing to roll the dice for the bit set @ $14 IF I need the packout case. Not trying to be a d1ck, just making sure I understand the logic here.

Really, $43's not a terrible price to pay just for a case like this that can keep assorted small parts separate and secure in a bag or a box. I've had good luck with Milwaukee for the last.. 6+ years. A similar bit set of theirs has been my go-to for years, but I don't have any of the packout cases myself.

Just picked up a Wera Tool Check set for ~$75 - bit pricy, but really premium set. The bits are reportedly great but not necessarily impact rated, so I'd probably avoid using them with my impact and just keep a small set of my favorite Milwaukee impact rated bits/adapters in an small 8-12 spot hex bit holder.

Already have the Ridgid rolling 3-box set along with the two upper boxes from one of Dewalt's popular rolling sets (without the roller box), so it's hard to justify getting into Milwaukee for these too unless it's coming as a container for one of their more premium M18 tools on sale 🙂

These have a specifc use-case with the rest of the pack-out gear, and are quite heavy duty, water-proof, modular, blah blah blah. Not sure why you felt the need to comment but want to assure people these aren't just pretty red stackable boxes, they're leaders in the industry.

The packout cases can be had for $27 at Ace hardware right now. and Milwaukee driver/drill bits pretty much suck, so this is not a hot deal. I would not pay $16 for these bits.

Buy the packout case for $27 (after coupon at Ace) and then fill it with Makita bits.
