I have the S5 max which only vacuums. No mop. This does both. Why so cheap?

I looked up my receipt. I have a S4max. Bought it BF 2022 for $280 new back before someone decided these things should cost $500 to over $1k

They've always been expensive. I've got a Roborock S4 max, as well, and it's been the best robot vacuum I've ever owned. You're not missing anything with the mopping feature. They all just drag a damp cloth across the floor and spread dirt around. They're on the high-end vacuums as an up-sale because it sounds good on paper. The self-emptying vacuums are nice, but most of them require expensive proprietary bags for the base. The only thing I don't like about my roborock is having to empty the dustbin every day (I have dogs that shed like crazy).

Ok, I agree with the other guy, you are not missing much. I mean in the first few months we used it as it as a fun new toy and it did work Okay (not good but acceptable). Few months later, we just set it on schedule and even cleaning the bin is a chore.
