Pretty much a C2 with an option to use DisplayPort. From RTINGS [rtings.com]:

Quote :
The LG 42 C2 OLED and the LG 48GQ900-B offer nearly identical picture quality, but they have different inputs and different extra features. The 42 C2 OLED is a TV we've tested as a monitor, so it has features you'd typically find on a TV, including extra image processing options, a fully-featured smart interface, and a tuner. The 48GQ900-B, on the other hand, is designed to be used as a monitor, so it lacks a smart interface and advanced picture processing options. However, it has inputs more typically found on a monitor, including a DisplayPort input and a USB hub.

Too large for a computer monitor. Maybe good for consoles. I purchased the Samsung ark last month and had to return it because of how absolutely massive it was
This was kind of my fear as well.

"Anti-Glare" This makes the screen less bright so know that before you buy. I rather get C2 since I can control the light source.

would this be more ideal if you have other light sources around?

If you have a headlight directly facing the screen then yes but that's sacrificing the actual color. Just search on Youtube what color looks like with anti-glare. I'd suggest if you can move the light sources to not directly face the screen.

I will have other monitors around me, as well as a lamp behind me.

I have seen other reviews saying the color difference isn't really that bad, but obviously its subjective.

I'm getting $967.99 before tax and after coupon code. Not $879.99 as post states.

Edit: never mind that is after tax. eBay checkout shows it weird.

Not going to debate that its subjective, but ended up going C1 after being able to compare the 2 side by side last year. The colors just pop more on the C1 for me and reflections on it are actually well contained. This coming from a guy that has always used matte screens in the past.

If this works for you really depends on what you intend to play/use it for. It also is contingent on your set up possibilities. I've got a 48" oled flanking an ultrawide. Both have their uses and upsides. Decent price if you understand the downsides of a monitor this size.

I have one and I love it. It's not good for a shallow desk though.

Exactly. I think the 48" is fine. I got it before they dropped the 42", but I don't feel the need to go smaller.
