This is a GREAT deal. These are sometimes called "everyday pans" and are my absolute favorite thing to cook in for quick after work meals for a family. You can cook everything in the same pan and marry it together. For instance:

Sear some chicken skin side down, then turn it over and cover with the lid to cook through.
Remove the chicken add vegetables to the pan and sautee. Deglaze with stock/wine if needed.
Add the chicken back to the pan, turn off the heat, and cover. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes.

Boom. You have dinner.

These are also great to quickly make soups and stews. the wider surface area lets you cook things more quickly than a pot.
I love cooking on cast iron or SS. I don't like chemical laced pans and pots because they eventually wearoff, and hopefully not in your food. And not to mention the toxicity of those chemical that you will be eating.
A real wok doesn't have a non stick coating. Non stick doesn't handle high heat needed for wok stir fry

It looks like it would work okay, but not great.
The flat bottom is relatively large based on the pictures, which somewhat defeats the purpose (hot sidewalls).
I was considering getting it as a wok, but I think ill be looking elsewhere still.

If you not an very good in kitchen , never use stainless steel. It will stick on with everything.

I am able to add it to my cart for store pickup but it says pickup in 7-10 business days. I really would like to take a look at the wok before I buy it. Does the pickup time mean they don't have any in-stock at the store?

Anyone know how wide the flat base is? Need to know if I can use this on my front burners of my induction stove or is it too small for the minimum size

Not true at all. You can make a lot of Indian curries, Upma, Puliogare, fried rice and a ton of other recipes in this.
