Hackable for the batteries down to $52.78 or the tools down to 106.22

Order the tool kit and the batteries for delivery. You'll get 2 confirmation emails - the tools will say $106 and the batteries $52. Wait for delivery, and return whichever you don't want to a store, where you show them the email and they refund that amount.

It's not really a hack, just bending the returns process and taking advantage of home depot's sales system being designed poorly.

I wouldn't wait for cheaper batteries honestly. The $40 2 pack 4aH probably won't be back until November probably. $52 for a 2 pack is pretty good actually

Is it better to do 2 hacks? Anyone seeing any issue? I am thinking of getting other tool set and do the hack for the kit and this one for the batteries. Or can batteries be cheaper than this? As I doubt I would need it now.

It's a good price on batteries, caveat that a few weeks ago could hack and get two 4ah for $40.

Not saying this is a bad deal but seems like an odd mix of tools. The mix of macro and micro type projects just don't align in my mind. Can't say I have ever considered using trim router and glue gun on the same project. Same goes for the sander and dremel.

i buy on ebay. About $ 57 for 2 8ah is typical.
Original Ryobi batteries? Those prices would be unheard of if so. I don't have experience with off brand, but I personally stick to reputable brands for their quality control for electronics

Is the glue gun dual temp?
Looks like a single temperature setting.

I can see all but the glue gun being used in intricate work like custom picture frames and such.
I guess you could use the glue gun for attaching a backing material, but I usually use something more permanent.

How do you do the hack? I don't see how they can be sent different ways.
TIA
