I miss the old days of free or nearly free reams from Staples. This is the cheapest I've seen for good quality paper in a while. I dont really need it, but it doesnt go bad, so what the hell. In for one...

Costco paper prices have increased now, but when it comes on sale I usually buy.

That's exactly what I was thinking when I saw this deal. It was usually a limit of 4 reams per week, and sometimes it was a moneymaker when they had a coupon to go along with it. I also remember free software, free shredders, free laminators on Black Friday, and lots of other fun stuff. Those were the days....

Costco's is 20# vs this one being 24#. Costco's is the standard thickness you get anywhere in a copy machine and in most home printers. This is slightly thicker paper. You can feel the difference. Most can do fine with 20#. But if your printer is finicky and jams a lot with standard 20# weight paper, this should help it.
When I used the 24# it felt like a special occasion. laugh out loud

The extra thickness and free shipping for getting only one ream are the reasons this deal is popular. You can get 10 reams of 20# for $40 when on sale nowadays. This is also brighter than standard but standard 92 brightness is fine for most folks.
All that being said, I am fine with standard 20# 92 brightness paper.I just came to see what the excitement was all about.

OP and SD mods should have put 24#, 96 brightness in the title.
