Deal Details
Tesla has dropped the base price of the Tesla Model Y from $65,990 down to $52,990. This price reduction means the Model Y now qualifies for the $7,500 Federal Tax Credit (details here).

Thanks to Community Member MurraytheDemonSkull for finding this deal.

Additionally, the base prices of all Tesla vehicles have been reduced. The base Model 3 is now $43,990, which is $3,000 lower than before. The Model 3 Performance is now $53,990, which is $9,000 lower than before, and now qualifies for the tax credit.

Editor's Notes

Written by RazorConcepts
  • This is $13,000 lower (19% savings) than the previous base price.
  • Factoring in the tax credit, the price of the Model Y today is $20,000 less than one purchased in December 2022.
  • To qualify for the federal tax credit, one must not exceed the following adjusted gross income limits:
    • $300,000 for married couples filing jointly
    • $225,000 for heads of households
    • $150,000 for all other filers
  • The tax credit is not refundable, which means one must have federal tax due to take advantage of it. If the tax due is less than the credit amount, one can only claim the credit up to the amount of the tax due.
  • Refer to the forum thread for additional deal discussion.

Just stay tight. every order Tesla is going to deliver by March since single penny counts for them. For exa: My sister who ordered in Jan 1st week, they called and asked whether she is open to pick any availability in fall back unit. They gave 20 inches induction free without charging against her booked order of 19 inches wheel. so she got $2000 upgrade free. Go and check existing inventory and anything above 55,900 price tags so many are available sitting in their lots.

are you saying that those 55,900 might get discounted down to fall below 55K?

So from that article, any Model Y Performance built on or after October 11, 2022 also has the Comfort Suspension. That's good info to check for on delivery date, we can check for the manufacture day to confirm about the suspension upgrade.

Also, does anyone know if all 2023 Model Y has Matrix Headlights upgrade?
i wouldn't worry about it if delivery is feb or mar..only possibility it might not have it would be those getting immediate deliveries which maybe leftover from last year inventory. there are part numbers that can be used to verify for sure in one of the tesla forums.

here's are couple links:

Did they charge any processing fees on the loan? any other costs that we have to eat up if we re-finance later ?
I didn't inquire about it, but you make a good point. I should probably call them to get a clarification. The wait times to talk to someone are painful, though.

Anyone here order FSD package for MY LR and were surprised with USS? My spouse works for Tesla, so we can get FSD for free. I'm curious to hear from folks ordering FSD.

They seem to have the best rates of all credit unions I have a searched for. I didn't apply because of their maximum insurance deductible of $500. I prefer to keep it at $750-$1000.
So the auto loan requires u to have auto insurance deductible be $500 or less? That's interesting.

There's a nice crowdsourced google form/sheet that's tracking dates for order/VIN/estimated delivery here: https://teslamotorsclub.com/tmc/t...et.145868/
