Deal Details
Tesla has dropped the base price of the Tesla Model Y from $65,990 down to $52,990. This price reduction means the Model Y now qualifies for the $7,500 Federal Tax Credit (details here).

Thanks to Community Member MurraytheDemonSkull for finding this deal.

Additionally, the base prices of all Tesla vehicles have been reduced. The base Model 3 is now $43,990, which is $3,000 lower than before. The Model 3 Performance is now $53,990, which is $9,000 lower than before, and now qualifies for the tax credit.

Written by RazorConcepts
  • This is $13,000 lower (19% savings) than the previous base price.
  • Factoring in the tax credit, the price of the Model Y today is $20,000 less than one purchased in December 2022.
  • To qualify for the federal tax credit, one must not exceed the following adjusted gross income limits:
    • $300,000 for married couples filing jointly
    • $225,000 for heads of households
    • $150,000 for all other filers
  • The tax credit is not refundable, which means one must have federal tax due to take advantage of it. If the tax due is less than the credit amount, one can only claim the credit up to the amount of the tax due.

And those two deep pockets in the Trunk on each side. I think I want something to fill those in, like storage boxes with lids that sit flush with the rest of the trunk floor.

Something like this:

Yup. Saw those too. I plan to eventually get it. I think I saw similar ones on Ali for about $20 each, so $40 total. Shipping sometimes is crazy, so I usually look for a vendor that does free shipping.

The Tesla front console storage is designed to support a sliding tray.

https://shop.tesla.com/en_au/prod...sole-trays [tesla.com]

We need some deals on 3rd party Tesla console trays or the 3 piece kits that have 2 trays and a hidden storage.. I definitely want something that can store sunglasses

Lots of companies are making 3 piece kits like this:
https://www.amazon.com/Basenor-20...08SC6FFWM/ [amazon.com]

When looking at the different offerings I see some have useless organization slots. Some are deeper than others. Some allow for cable management, and some don't (if that's important).

At that price, I'd probably just order the ones from the Tesla shop.

There was a lot of other cool items that I haven't thought about yet in that video, thanks!

LOL I also have a 2010 MDX w/150k miles. I ordered a MYP and don't need 3 suv's (wife has a new Rav 4) but I am attached to the MDX for some weird reason (damn gas guzzler!).
I also have an 2017 MDX with 40K miles that I much prefer driving over a 2022 MYLR. So my wife can drive the Tesla.

Yes the Tesla is tech-packed and quick, but I don't feel the luxury and coziness expected at its price range. I feel "cold" on night driving in the Tesla. I have 6-7 relatives and friends with Teslas and they all agree with that. Btw, we're young and working in tech sector.

The Y Base model show $50,990. Is this the normal price or lower more on base model?

Yup thats what i was planning to do, also i have to signup for these rates with georgia so have to submit an application (no fees for that).

But also if you notice it says Jun to Sept so not sure if its only for those months or not ?
Is that cost 'out the door' ?

Our new plan is split between two companies, one for 'generation' and the other for 'delivery' or something like that. Before, it was also split, but same company.

For example: our fee is 26cents, but that's something like 17 cents for generation and 9 cents for delivery, it's all buried down inside the bill.

If you are getting 1 cent, that's pretty darn sweet. I'mma move to Georgia and drive to California every day for work. Cheaper.

My mistake. All the inventory models in my area came with a tow hitch. Thats why I thought 51990 was the standard price for the base. It is in fact $50,990.

Does anyone know when the delivery date would be if the ''factory build date'' on a vehicle is 2/18? This is for a vehicle Tesla lists as inventory.

Because it is with 19inch Wheels. Earlier all Y Base was with 20inch and hence $2K extra

I have a 2008 MDX, and stuff like the entertainment system is starting to break, but it's so much more comfortable.
I also feel much safer in it when in parking lots than I do with the Tesla Y. I think that maybe I find that visibility in the Tesla is more difficult for some some reason. This may be just because I am more used to driving the MDX. The Tesla does nee to improve it's visibility, though. Birdseye view /360 camera would be nice.

It is the normal price for a base Non-Long Range Model Y

I believe it was 51,990 just a couple of days ago for the standard range awd MY.

If you are checking a separate site, verify Tesla has it on their site.
Find the approximate zip code, go to www.tesla.com [tesla.com] and check 'existing inventory.

If it shows on their page, you should in theory be able to go to that location and get it. It's probably already there.
