Deal Details
Tesla has dropped the base price of the Tesla Model Y from $65,990 down to $52,990. This price reduction means the Model Y now qualifies for the $7,500 Federal Tax Credit (details here).

Thanks to Community Member MurraytheDemonSkull for finding this deal.

Additionally, the base prices of all Tesla vehicles have been reduced. The base Model 3 is now $43,990, which is $3,000 lower than before. The Model 3 Performance is now $53,990, which is $9,000 lower than before, and now qualifies for the tax credit.

Editor's Notes

Written by RazorConcepts
  • This is $13,000 lower (19% savings) than the previous base price.
  • Factoring in the tax credit, the price of the Model Y today is $20,000 less than one purchased in December 2022.
  • To qualify for the federal tax credit, one must not exceed the following adjusted gross income limits:
    • $300,000 for married couples filing jointly
    • $225,000 for heads of households
    • $150,000 for all other filers
  • The tax credit is not refundable, which means one must have federal tax due to take advantage of it. If the tax due is less than the credit amount, one can only claim the credit up to the amount of the tax due.
  • Refer to the forum thread for additional deal discussion.

Yep, sounds about normal for Tesla. They probably realized the build quality was so bad and there was no way they could hide it from you in daylight. Maybe they had to re-attach the steering wheel....or they damaged the rims while trying to park since it has no parking sensors. Or maybe they went to clean it and the paint wiped off.
I think they sold it to someone for a better price. But doesn't sound right to me.

Not all, but some (looks above)Tesla owners are like former alcoholics that walk around and tell everyone drinking alcohol is bad for you.
same could be said of 50k/36k corolla buyers

Yeah sounds about right, or maybe the ICE truck that was transporting the tesla ran out of gas and causing a delayed delivery. Or it blew a head gasket, caught on fire, and taking out the tesla with it. Or maybe the acceleration of the dinosaur technology is so slow, it takes a bit longer to reach the destination. Or maybe the truck driver is still waiting in line at Costco's gas station to fill up.

I'm almost convinced that vndragonslayer is trolling too. Nearly every one one of his/her posts in this thread is a combination of "36k Civic/Corolla", "72k Porsche", "dinosaur" and "LOL".
did you buy tesla stock instead of the car since u dislike this thread so much

$7500 CVRP only if you're below 400% poverty income
Isn't it $2000, and then $2500 more if you are below? How do you get to $7500?

I bought the Tesla wall charger but no longer need it. Anybody interested in buying it. It's unopened. I am in Central NJ
Did you find a better alternative or you planning to use mobile charger only?

Wow that's insane. The model 3 price is holding steady, I wonder if it's overpriced now?

Picked up my model 3 last Saturday, the steering wheel vibrate when speed above 65, the vibration gets much worse if speed over 70. Is this normal? Is Alignment or tire balancing is needed?

Adding in my datapoint, picked up my gray & white 19" MYLR. No major issues - just a little door adjustment they knocked out while I waited. As expected, I gave them the check after checking out the inside, outside, and getting all set with the car. Now the hard part is deciding what tint level to do lol.

Order date was 1/12 and car got here on 2/8, but I needed until the weekend.
