Usage matters. If you're gonna play movies in a pitch black room, oled is better, but in a bright room qled is better.

Here is a detailed review of the TV. Looks solid for the size/price depending on use case.

Don't even bother. I've been fighting Citi extended warranty for almost 3 years on a broken LG OLED. Their excuses not to pay so far:

1) it's used
2) it's open box
3) it's refurbished
4) it's an antique
5) paypal are not authorized payment service

It takes 4-6 months to receive another BS excuse from them after appealing.

How's the image quality compared to OLED? Huge difference?

Might be a good TV and only good at that, 'cause it's got limited capabilities as a PC display, for example it doesn't support 1440p@120Hz.. if anyone was thinking about playing anything on this beautiful 65" screen...

Even my Samsung TV with VA panel 65" from 2018 does 1440@120Hz with minimal ghosting, I'd pass on this TV and maybe look at something from Hisense or TCL with proper hardware processing.
Recent firmware fixes that or not?

Very recently updated, so I don't think so.

I've stood in front of these before and I'm holding out for the OLED to drop some. I'm always mesmerized by the OLED and the minute detail you can see. The full array didn't give me the same immersion feeling personally. Have a Samsung (actually a Sharp panel) about 5 years old now, but really want a Bravia for the HDR10 and Dolby Vision.

X90 is better, but absolutely avoid the x85. If you need good viewing angles, I would go with another brand with different tech or straight to OLED from any brand.

Bought an X85k and it had the worst black level rise off straight viewing of any TV i have owned. I couldn't believe how bad it was. Way worse than my low end Walmart Hisense in the basement, which is also VA. X85 is beautiful dead straight on only. Ended up returning the Sony and getting an LG OLED and am so much happier for my living room usage which has wide seating.

What price will you be ready to get an OLED for?
