Both are fine, go for whatever brand or packaging that excites you during unboxing!
I went for Samsung just because their magician software is excellent, and their warranty if ever needed, would be easier than WD. Just an opinion and gut. However, never had a quality SSD fail, and don't want to jinx myself.
Whatever performance difference there is between them, is technical and no one will notice any difference. If you do, then you are the .001% of a true computer pro with a very specific use case π
So many choices...
WD_BLACK 2TB SN850X NVMe vs Samsung 980 PRO 2TB NVMe
Any major differences?
