P.C. Richard & Son has the Hisense 75U8H on sale for $1299. Shipping is extra, and is freight. It was $150 to Colorado.

This may be one of the last chances to get one of the best reviewed TVs of 2022 [rtings.com]. It's been out of stock on both Amazon and Best Buy for months with no expected restock date.

Edit: It looks like it's still in stock locally at Best Buy for some people, and they will price match this price. So it's worth checking Best Buy first since they offer free shipping: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/hise...Id=6511977

Best Buy hasn't had the 75" in stock for several weeks. Just curious how you were able to get one.
It showed available for me online yesterday, ordered it and supposed to be delivered this Saturday 1/21 so I'm not sure. Other people are saying the same as you as well but for me I was able to purchase? Hopefully it shows up

Thoughts on Hisense? Is the quality close to the top brands. Will it last?
In general, Hisense quality is not on par with the leading brands. Consumer Reports says 20% of Hisense owners report problems in the first 5 years. But, this is their flagship model. So, in theory, it should be better built than most Hisense sets.

FWIW, Consumer Reports publishes an equally bad reliability rating for Vizio TVs, but my Vizio lasted nearly a decade without issue up until I sold it last year. Presumably, it's still going strong. Life expectancy after warranty is a roll of the dice with any TV. Up to you if you want to save money now, or spend more for a better sense of long term security.

PC RICHARDS shows free delivery to my place. It is a special order item though, and I have to wait a few weeks or longer before it ships.

You were lucky with that Vizio....I have had multiple failures though they have made it past the warranty period

I had 2 LG panels, a ips 3d and an oled. Both died in a few years, so I could not go back to the brand. Not that they are bad or not great, just my experience. But I did hesitate on the hisense brand, but rest assured Joel McHale approves it and im glad that i switched all my TV to it.

Yesterday I tried to price match through their online chat and was denied as the TV was on sale. Ended up getting approved by calling their customer service. Try calling again.

I have had a 55" U6R for 5 months now so can't speak to longevity, but it is a really nice TV. Fast and responsive menus, solid picture, just works. Going to buy a 65" if the price drops.

Happens all the time I told them I'm moving to xxxx…. And it worked once

I want this tv it looks like an oled most mini leds do but the wife won't let me lol

You will have more luck in store price matching also even if they don't carry the tv in your store !!

I have a sharp that is a Hisense. Hisense bought sharp and still branded the tv as sharp but has Hisense internals. The tv took a Hisense update and bricked it. Had to fight with Hisense for months to get it fixed. They replaced the board. Mind you this is one year into ownership. Second year into ownership the back light is dead. I'd stay away.

Thanks for the tip. Did an online chat. Provided a zip code corresponding where PC Richard has a store when asked. Provided our new house address/zip code for the shipping location. Order placed, easy process.

#1 I would never buy another Hisense again. the 1st one was so slow the tv moved like a Atari in speed.

#2 right at 1 year it went out. I got them to fix it as under warranty but luck.

I really hate there low budget tvs plus customer service is trash. TVs do not last of theirs so get extended warranty.

And i bought last week on here the Samsung Q60b 70 inch so far its good. And here is from Ratings side by side. And remember the Samsung was $798 vs this.

The Hisense U8H and the Samsung QN90B QLED deliver very similar picture quality overall, but the Samsung is a bit better overall. The Hisense has better native contrast, and it displays content closer to what the content creator intended. On the other hand, the Samsung TV has much better processing overall, so upscaled content looks a bit better, and there's less banding in areas of similar color. Thanks to its wide-angle filter, the Samsung is a much better choice for a wide seating arrangement, as the image remains consistent when viewed from the sides.
