Just FYI, Apple's straps (as well as the nicer aftermarket ones) use FKM/flurorubber, not silicon. Silicon straps are dust magnets and will always look really dirty unless you get a light color.

I bought this before but returned it. The strap is very different from the original and it's counterintuitive.

Which ones are "nicer". I got one of the Best Buy ones and it's ok, not great. I'd like great without buying a brand new Apple band for my Gen 3 watch.

got it today, wow it's awful. lol

barely holds onto my series 4 ss. more wiggle than any other off brand i've used. holes in strap are too small, it barely goes in, extremely difficult to do with one hand.

debating whether it's worth a return for $2 or if i should just throw it out tbh

I have to agree these watch bands aren't very good. It seems really hard to get them on and snapped snugly. It was too small to fit your hand through without completely opening up the band but the post you need to snap into the hole to close it doesn't fit through the loop very well. I also do worry about what can happen if you catch the end and unsnap it accidentally. The material itself seemed okay but the design just feels bad.

I'm not going to bother returning it because it's not worth the effort and I'm still happy with the Apple music trial for $2.50 even if the band just sits on the shelf.

I have the series 8 45mm. These don't connect snuggly to the watch, the connection between the watch face and the band seems sketchy, as if it could fall out randomly. In my opinion not worth the risk to your watch

Great timing. I got the AWU and the included band is horrendously designed. I reused my SE sport band and needed to buy a replacement to resell the old watch.
