Had plans to go to NYC around this time in 2020. Covid put a damper on that. Hoping to make it out to NYC this year to show the kiddos what the Big Apple is all about.

I just went a month or so ago. Being from Texas I'm glad I got to experience it, but I'm in no hurry to go back.
The code doesn't actually take anything off Broadway tickets. Clicking through the link shows it has applied, and you can even re-enter the code at checkout, but there's no discount.

You can only unlock this deal on weekday shows. Mon-Th. It's pretty crooked that they don't tell you that. The "lock" icon to unlock this pricing doesn't appear on F-S shows. They should clearly indicate that, but like everything in NY, it's a bait and switch. Also, I'm all for the ganja, but the entire city reeks of it now. Seems like just about everyone is stoned 24/7 now that it's legal. Sucks to be immersed in that, walking around with young kids asking about the smell. Can't blame people for wanting to check out all day given how crappy life has become for so many, but NY has really fallen apart, imo. Also seems like if you live there, you're either a cop, a door dasher, or a ceo. I don't want to "be a part of it."
Broadway 2-for-1 has been active since last month. It occurs every year mid January to mid February.

For someone who doesn't want to be a part of it, you sure seem pretty butthurt about not getting what you were looking for. Why someone would look for tickets if they hate NYC so much is beyond me...but some people just like to complain.
I'm really here to thank Serra for the post. Bought 6 tickets for a Friday night show. Brought the whole family and knocked out two birthday gifts at the same time. Reserved parking right near the theater and had a nice dinner on the same block. The parking attendant even knocked $20 off my parking after a gave him a $10 tip! We had a wonderful night and could have stayed on the same street the whole time, but we did take a two-block walk for some pastries after dinner.
All in all, it was a great night. Thanks again Serra!

Not bait and switch. Just late to the party
