Two strips cannot be connected, but you can use multiple strips independently through the app. It is obviously a bit more cumbersome than being able to link more than one set and control them as one, but it is a fairly good work around, and I actually have multiple strips set up this way throughout my home.
first question on the lenovo website for this product. NOT MINE .

I think the Govee RGBIC one is better since you can control each segment individually. It was on sale for about $20. Thoughts? https://a.co/d/1sbEEbU
I was thinking about the same.
I have Govee 32 ft RGB, 66ft RGBIC, Patio lights etc. and all of them work great.
Originally I wanted to get Wyze but they have been oos forever plus they charge for shipping which was insane.
For smart RGB, you can also look up daybetter brand. It's cheaper(50 ft for ~$13), wifi enabled, and almost feel like Govee quality.
Lenovo may be good brand but their number of smart products are very limited so no matter how we look at it, Lenovo may be bit short in providing smart products.

Heads up, you can get these working on Homekit using HomeBridge. Will need to use a combo of the Tuya app, Tuya API to grab the local key, and manually adding the config someone graciously posted on reddit.

I hope this helps.
daybetter brand has 30 day warranty. Goove and these have a year warranty.
Merkury light at walmart will be a better deal, it has a separate RBG led, white led and warm white led.
it is same price as this, it was a $ cheaper few weeks back.

Google home app will control them with Tula app (instead of the Lenovo app)
Tula instantly recognizes these as you power them up for the first time.
As you can imagine, the 6 foot strip comes with a tiny power supply....the 32 foot one comes with a much larger power supply.
This 6-pin kit can join, split or extend these LED strips:

So about 18 LEDs per foot
30 LEDs per meter, total 60 LEDs. approx 9 led per feet
These have only RGB LEDs

They can be controlled via Alexa. One caveat is that after a power outage, these default to ON state irrespective of its previous state i.e no memory.
