That was kind of hard because Amazon restricted the item reviews to verified purchases, which I was but it still have me that message for a couple weeks. I finally was able to write the review and just sent it in and revived a replay today telling me I'll get a gift card in a couple days.
So be aware that these are purchased reviews. I installed it and it works fine.
The application is not limited to cars. It's a remote visual device that you can use for security or observation purposes (thinking about getting one as action cam pointing at the bird nest recently appeared on a tree next door).
The camera alone doesn't require a lot of juice. I think 2A adapter should be enough ( like https://www.amazon.com/THYNING-Co...B09PB7K3SK ) but your situation may vary. I went with the larger 30A brick style adapter because I also need to power the remote control transmitter / receiver / the motor as well as the LCD.
