I just ordered my 3rd unit through warranty, this thing only lasts 12 months max! It's a nice robot but if you are planning on getting it, make sure you are covered.

I'm on my fourth through warranty. They do stand behind their product but be prepared to be frustrated. So many great ideas but they are poorly implemented.

This is a good price but go into this with eyes wide open.

Hopefully they will do better in the next gen.

What went wrong with it?

I think mine is 4 or 5 months old. Does a good job keeping up with dog hair. Does have its idiosyncrases. I bought it through Costco so I can basically return it forever.

First one stopped working with no error messages, second one was error #10. They started charging courrier fee for the replacement units and they just send the unit it without battery or brushes

Every robot vacuum lasts for about a year because of the lithium battery needing to be replaced. It's unfortunate but that's why their warranties are only 1 year.
