This or the LG 32UP83A-W? Seems pretty similar in features. I don't really care about the USB C as I have a docking station.

Yes, but 1.2 limits the total throughput available on the hub. If you want to use this hub for networking, to reduce cables, then you're only going to bandwidth reduced under 1 Gbps after video bandwidth. In 2023, if you plan to use USB to drive monitors and you want to use their hubs, you should be getting 1.4 with DSC 1.2 [cablematters.com]. Otherwise you are going to be getting frustrated with weird cable issues and hubs marked as USB 3+ reporting as USB 2.

I have two ultra sharp 4K with this "issue". At the end of the day, nothing beats a TB3 dock lol. Simple.

The description says there is a built in KVM - has anyone figured a way to use it?
Also, is it possible to daisy chain two of these? I tried a combination of USB-C and DP cables and just DP cables (well, miniDP->DP, to be precise) but couldn't make the second monitor light up. There is a menu setting for that - I did enable it, in case you wondered.

I haven't used the KVM feature, but I did daisy chain 2 of them for a while. If I recall correctly, I had no issues with MacOS but it never worked correctly on Ubuntu. I didn't bother troubleshooting or attempting to figure it out. I mostly remote into my Linux machines anyhow.

Good monitor. I recommend.

Edit: I actually have the p32u-10, so my comments may be incorrect. My bad.

$1000 MSRP seems overpriced considering the HP Z32 Gen3 4K (their highest end monitor that's also calibrated) is only $850 retail. Still bummed out I missed out on this eBay deal - a guy with very good ratings had a brand new/sealed HP U32 4K (calibrated and 400-nits) for $350. It was on my watchlist for over ~10 days, until finally someone bought it. I have the 28" version and extremely happy with it.

Thanks for your input. I'm on windows anyway ☺️ I also have 2 of these and am very happy with them (and will be even more once I figure answers to my questions)

If by daisy chain, you mean plug USB-C into your PC and light up both monitors? Lenovo does sell monitors with DP-Out but I don't think this one does that.

I am reading this message on a P32p-20 = it is a really good monitor. I will admit I haven't taken advantage of the KVM yet. I've used both USB-C and DP inputs and no issues.

Note that there is a P32p-30 coming out shortly - I think it comes with MiniLED - and will be a lot more expensive. Retail on this one is $1099 or so; the new one is $1699 (I think). This new one has 2 Thunderbolt ports - so maybe you can daisy chain it.

What makes it priced at $1,034.00?
Do not trust the shiiiiiiithole Lenovo. It cancelled customers' orders at will.
