According to the reviews however, it does not come ready to use 120 volts... an expensive adapter is needed to do that. I plan to use batteries so that doesn't matter to me, but if your plan is to ever use 120v, do some research first. $34 here: https://www.thepartsbiz

Of course, they are both tool-only.. so really depends on if you already have the batteries or not. That said I keep mine in the trunk of my car and use it for everything from tires.. to inflatable pool toys and mattresses. Will fully inflate a car tire in less than a minute. And my favorite feature is that its a screw-on hose. So screw it onto the nozzle.. turn the unit on.. set your PSI.. hit start. It automatically stops at the exact PSI. Makes it so easy to keep all 4 tires on the vehicle properly inflated to exact same pressure.
