and promo not applied, but promo code disappears as if it was used. Customer service in every case was useless - telling me I didn't have a promo, promos can't be used with GCs, etc. None of it true, but you have little recourse when you pay with a GC. Best of luck.

Instacart is good for costco and Aldi in my area. You often find 10~20% off gift cards, r10 1~3% cashback, 1.5% delta skymiles and $15 per month/quarter credit through chase.
With these two services I haven't gone to gorcery stores for quite while. I think I am saving money as compared to going into store.
Membership of both services cost money. Chase CSR CSP provide pretty long complementary membership.
