I'm surprised that the TBW is only 800 on these…is it just me or Crucial seems to have lower TBW compared to Samsung and some others?

Per tb no. For a 4tb drive it's an okay deal. It's not a very good drive, it's only selling point is that it's 4tb at this price.

Agreed, that seems like a horrible TBW endurance for a 4TB drive.
I even checked the 2TB one in the series to see if it was a typo. but that one is 440TBW so yeah they
really do mean ~200TBW/TB endurance. Yuck.

For many purposes it'd be a reasonable idea to use either SATA or NVME drives for general purpose "fast enough"
secondary bulk storage (in comparison to the seek latency / IOPS of a rotating disc) so there may be some better $/TB pricing on some better drive in one of those categories or other.

It is qlc memory and without dram. Shouldnt expext much for the tbw. 250 is good price though. I think at this point this is normal price. 200 and im in for one.

Whoa! That is the lowest price yet on this drive. I thought I did well for $237! This drive is definitely only being used as a game and media storage drive. Low writes.

Price per GB this is very good.

Be aware of the Endurance rating of the regular P3 drives. It is half of that of the higher tier drives.
