I saw it with my own eyes in stock In St. Augustine Walmart, Florida. I have too many computers already, I would have buy this.

The ones in store are windows 11. Same exact make/model just slightly different specs. That's the reason for perhaps a different upc.

The $599 and the $900 laptops in store are the newest models. They were never meant to be clearance and won't be anytime soon.

One of my local Walmarts had a $299 listing on brickseek with unknown quantity, went to store and turns out they had a bunch in stock... however, it rang up as full price still.

Bs shows lowered prices, but in store rang up full price.. otherwise would love to retire my 8year old ROG gaming laptop

It seems like Walmart app scanner brings original price had anyone saw discounted price on the app scanner recently ?

Found the MSI GF63 in store but they only had the floor model left. Sticker price on display was $649, but they scanned it as $399. I passed cuz I just wasn't feeling like spending $400 on a 10th gen i5 with a 1650. If it rang up as 199 I would've snatched it up though.

It IS possible but it's also just as YMMV as finding one in the first place. A handful of years ago I found one of those gaming towers with all the LED lights on it. I took it from the store I got it at to the lower priced store, where they opened it (and dropped it while getting it out of the box) and after repackaging it up told me that I had to return it to the store I originally got it from. Bomb

Anymore I just ask if I can change payment method and bring just the receipt with me. Most times they're accommodating to that sort of request. But again you might get somebody who wants to be a hard ass and require you to bring the item in too.

That's why I miss the Kmart chain since their clearance was typically chain wide unlike the Walmart clearance where it's contingent upon the managers discretion. If even one user here gets one of these deals then it's well worth it having been posted. As I said earlier though, if you wait until these deals are posted here, on Brickseek or wherever you're probably already too late to get it.

Modern "deal hunters" need to be more PROactive than REactive. If you're interested in something keep an eye on stock and prices regularly and grab it as soon as it hits your buy price. But don't be surprised if it sells out before you are willing to buy it.

For good reason. They return and then do rebuy on second CC, it doesnt go through and now the employee is in trouble.

I definitely understand why they do it sometimes. Whether it's because the receipt has faded and they can't read the serial number to re-enter it for the re-buy or whatever reason.

Thankfully they've been OK with doing it receipt only lately, which is great when the product is heavier and a pain to keep lugging in and out of the car.

That's the 2022 version...always check UPC's. The processor is different.
