I contacted ASUS support who confirmed it has one soldered RAM slot (8GB 3200Hz) and one that is open and able to add 8GB of RAM for a total of 16GB.

Yes, it has 2x thunderbolt 4 ports as mentioned in the description and it does support USB-C charging.

Thanks for the thoughtful response. I confirmed that it has 8GB onboard memory and 1 open expansion slot. I installed a 16GB DDR 4 3200 ram into the open slot and confirmed it is working and showing a total of 24GB of memory. Thanks! Cheers!

Not at all, but it does depend on your use case scenario. There's one extra slot to add more RAM. So if 8GB seems to be less for you, you can always add another.

This seems like a pretty darn good deal, but I really wanted one with a 14" screen (or around). Very tempting and I have a microcenter an hour away so I could check it out if they have it on display.

Shame about the screen being only 45% NTSC. Otherwise this would be a sweet deal. I means, it's a bit dim but you could get past that if the colors were even moderately accurate.
