For those that care for 3-D this does not do it, also no dobly vision or earc which is weird. When it comes to gaming its not the best compared to the 4ms of other 1080/240Hz UST projectors, but its capable enough for many not to notice.
Still would go with the Optoma CinemaX D2 over this since I care about 3-D and gaming.
Okay. Looking for an ALR screen for this. 100 inch. What are the options here?
XY-Screens if you are OK with slow shipping from China. I have one - and it's a BIG difference it is no OLED, but it looks better than your average LCD, in my opinion (it's for my VAVA projector, not the one in OP)
VAVA sells a similar screen - but I don't own it. Their setup and installation of the screen is a bit more user friendly than the XY-Screens version, at least from looking at videos of it.
If I were to need another screen, I'd try out the VAVA.

Silver Ticket. They're on Amazon or they have a direct website. Quality product at a great price. I bought an "open box" from them. Showed up like new.

Could be wrong but they don't offer UST ALR screens
That's the thing with UST, so that people don't have to mount them 20' back. I have an Epson 5040UB that I bought refurbished from Epson a little while back. I have it mounted back about 18' throwing a 135" picture. Room is completely light controlled so the picture is pretty good. I think the newer 5050UB would be a good option if you're shopping in that price range. It does have both horizontal and vertical lens shifting so you don't have to place it perfectly in line with the screen.

Lots of ultra short throws. Are there any good ones that I can setup 20 ft away that can throw a good 120 inch screen?
I currently have a Da-lite perm wall screen. Do I need to change my screen to ALR if I get a UST? I am considering a UST because it's a pain to go through walls to rewire the hdmi cables. The cables from the home theater setup were there when I bought the house and I suspect they are hdmi 1.4.

If you're in a fully light controlled room, you may not need to get an ALR screen assuming your Da-Lite is not high gain. The wall and ceiling above the screen should be painted dark though or it will still hurt the contrast.
Are you able to attach new HDMI to the old one and pull it through the walls?

Yeah no eArc takes it out of the running for me. Isn't this a new projector? Why would they skip that??

Yeah they are really marketing these guys as more stand alone all in one solutions, and yes this is a newer model just came out mid last year.
You can still use HDMI Arc for all the standard blu ray formats for a home theater solution, but yes eARC missing is weird for something at this price range especially when the DX2 has it.
