I think the listing on Midway is wrong. This is not the LTE with carbon fiber liners per the details on the page. 4.9 oz is the weight of the normal Pentagon XR, the LTE would be 3.6 oz I think. The list price on the LTE is also $50 higher than this listing. The sale price is $209.99, not $89.99.

$89.99 was the sales price of the black handled Pentagon XR I picked up in November. Except there was a 40% off coupon at the time that brought it to $54. I do not think this is a deal.

The LTE version would be a deal at $89.99 as that is a very significant weight reduction but I do not believe that is what you are going to receive.

Calling that a blood groove was a marketing gimmick to make it sound dangerous and cool. It's called a fuller and it's designed to reduce weight without weakening the structure of blade. This one is so thin, it's just for cosmetic purposes.

Impressive research and deduction. I believe you are right, that this is not in fact an LTE and that it is mislabeled.
The weight of this is higher than the LTE with carbon fiber liners. The base price of the wolf gray Pentagon XR is the same as the pre-discount price. Also, I have not found a wolf gray model in the LTE.

This does not appear to be the lower weight LTE model and seems to be less of a deal than previously found.

It is wrong. It's the XR, but not the LTE. Adjusted it yesterday, but slickdeals changed it back to LTE when they moved it to the front page.

The pricing is still correct. Retail is $180 and it's half off.

Main difference is going to be the weight. This one is a bit heavier than the LTE 4.9 oz vs 3.2 oz

Still really confused why the iPhone XR LTE version has a built-in knife

Yes. You can compare as there's a blue lte on midway site and can see price is double this deal when adding to cart.

search for 729857013284 on midways site then
Compare weight and description to original listing
